I got a phone call from a friend of mine who lives in faraway New York. We caught up over the hour-long conversation as if she was just next door. She excused herself while we were talking since she was munching away the Chinese take-out dinner she was enjoying. She said, “Hey, I got two fortune cookies. I opened the first one, but the second one will be ours.”
I could hear her opening up the next cookie and then she read with the Chinese accent flair:
“Big things coming in future, only matter of time.”
